About Us

Magda has always been passionate about art. From painting and drawing, to knitting and crocheting, she has always been curious about hand crafting. When she was diagnosed with breast cancer and started her chemotherapy, she looked for ways to keep herself busy and also using it as a therapy (handcrafts have always relaxed her). 
She started making crocheted bags but realized that they did not take form. So she researched and found a technique that would help her achieve the consistency and sturdiness she was looking for. She took a couple of online course (on in Portuguese) and practicing started getting good at making these handbags. She made some of a couple of friends, and as the purses got seen online in pictures, she began to receive orders. Now the handbags sell by themselves. 
Most of the purses are made to go, and Maizhda Ink rarely has inventory. Magda wants to post each purse she makes so tha potential customers can see alternatives and place an order.
